The town became official on July 25, 2007, and the 2020 census counted 3,656 residents. US 301 runs through as Dunn Road, I-95 has exits at 55, 56 and 58, and I-295 peels off at Exit 58. The Robert Williams House, on the National Register since 1983, is the landmark most people know. The houses around it span decades, so in one afternoon we might look at an older ranch carrying its second layer of shingles and a newer home still on its first roof.
What Eastover roofs ask for most:
- Repairs after wind. Thunderstorms along the I-95 corridor lift shingle tabs and peel ridge caps. A lifted tab loses its seal and lets the next rain in.
- Flashing work. Chimneys, walls and plumbing vents are where most leaks begin. A cracked rubber boot around a vent pipe is a cheap fix that saves a ceiling.
- Honest replacement calls. If a roof has two layers, curling tabs and soft decking, we say so, show the photos and price a tear-off instead of another patch.
- Gutters and fascia. Clogged gutters push water into fascia boards; we fix both while the roof work is underway. See gutters, soffit and fascia.
Rain is the steady pressure here. The Fayetteville area averages about 47 inches a year, with July the wettest month, and hurricane remnants add wind-driven rain on top of that. A small leak in a dry spell becomes a stained ceiling by August.
How we help Eastover roofs
Close to the city
About seven miles from downtown Fayetteville, so a roof check fits easily into the week.
Mixed-age housing
Older ranches and newer homes sit near each other; we check layers, decking and ventilation on both.
Vent boots and flashing
The usual leak points get new boots and properly lapped metal flashing, not a bead of caulk.
Second-layer roofs
Where a second layer went over the first, we price the tear-off honestly and check the deck underneath.
Gutters at the same visit
Gutter and fascia repairs can ride along with roof work, so the crew only comes once.
Rain-season timing
When we can, repairs are scheduled ahead of the wet midsummer weeks, since July is the area's rainiest month.

What Eastover homeowners ask us
Is Eastover in your regular area?
Yes. It is about seven miles northeast of downtown Fayetteville, right on our usual routes.
Can you put a new roof over my old one?
We prefer to tear off to the deck so we can see and fix the wood underneath. If you sell with VA or FHA financing, layer limits can force a tear-off anyway.
My ceiling stain only shows up in heavy rain. Where is it coming from?
Usually flashing, a vent boot or a valley. Wind-driven rain reaches a weak spot that ordinary rain misses. We trace it from the attic and from the roof.
Do you replace fascia boards?
Yes. Rotten fascia is common where gutters have overflowed for years, and we replace it before new gutters go up.
What does a repair usually cost?
National cost guides put typical roof repairs between about $395 and $1,967. Yours is priced in writing after we have seen it.
Do I have to be home for the work?
For the inspection it helps, so we can see the attic. For the roof work itself, not always, as long as the driveway is clear for the trailer.
